THE PHILOSOPHY OF ONENESS
How do we pursue our ambitions, care for the people we love and meet life’s responsibilities while remaining inwardly free?
The Philosophy of Oneness, articulated by Guru Harit Ratna, invites us to recognise our inner barriers and deepen our connection with the whole of existence.
Its central principle, attachment with detachment, encourages us to participate fully in life while loosening our hold on possession, control and outcomes.
SIX REFLECTIONS ON CONSCIOUS GROWTH
Six statements from Guru Harit Ratna capture the essence of the journey of conscious growth.
The purpose of life is the growth of consciousness.
Consciousness is a deep well of self-awareness.
Conscious growth is a journey to the centre of the self.
Consciousness is a state of attachment with detachment.
Give your all; then let things be.
Witness every moment with a passion.
Devotion opens the way to surrender. From surrender flows sacrifice: the willingness to relinquish what we hold dear when our attachment to it stands in the way of conscious growth.
Through this lived practice, consciousness deepens from awareness to awakening to achievement: an enduring state of Oneness.

GURU HARIT RATNA · FOUNDER, ONENESS INDIAOUR GUIDE
Philosopher, author and founder of Oneness India
Guru Harit Ratna’s work centres on a question that touches every life: how can we grow in consciousness and experience a deeper connection with ourselves and the Universe?
Born in Sitamarhi, Bihar, in 1976, he pursued his higher studies in Kolkata before embarking on a career in entrepreneurship. Over two decades, he built and led businesses while balancing his responsibilities to family and community. Alongside this journey, he pursued an inquiry into consciousness, purpose and the possibilities of inner transformation.
This exploration led him to develop the Philosophy of Oneness and establish Oneness India, a Kolkata-based foundation devoted to spiritual growth. His approach welcomes people across faiths and backgrounds, including those who do not follow a religion. It places the journey of conscious growth within everyday life—our relationships, responsibilities, challenges and choices.
Through his books, talks and spiritual practices, Guruji invites seekers to recognise their inner barriers, cultivate awareness and explore attachment with detachment: participating wholeheartedly in life while learning to let go of its outcomes.
His writings include The Purpose of Life: Find Your Path to Oneness, its Hindi edition Jeevan Ka Uddeshya, and Oneness Sutras: Spiritual Practices for Inner Peace and Transformation. Together, they offer philosophical inquiry and practical pathways for the journey from awareness to awakening to achievement.
At the heart of his work is a lifelong mission: to help every human being move towards enlightenment and discover their connection with the whole of existence.
